I am an author of fantasy novels.
My novels are heavy on the sword-and-sorcery and light on
the gore and violence.
My protagonists are strong-willed young women well-versed
in swordskills,
while their male counterparts are angst-ridden heroes
struggling against fate and chance.
My characters subscribe to the well-tried and hard-tested
notions of duty and honour,
and play out their versions of justice against a backdrop
of political intrigue
and impending calamity. Stakes are invariably high, and
romance ofttimes has to take a backseat to duty and
obligation.
But as we all know, devotion can transcend time,
space and worlds.
So come on in and meet Jess Lochlen, a traveller who
